Annissa Fragoso for Merced County District 2 Supervisor

Annissa Fragoso was sworn in at the Merced County Building on November 28, 2023.
Fragoso will run against current Supervisor Josh Pedrozo in the Primary Election on March 5, 2023.
Resident of Merced County and Insurance Agency Business Owner for Farmers Insurance.

For the past 9 years, she has been serving as a Director for the Merced County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Currently holding the position of MCHCC President since 2021.

She has also served on other boards for various organizations in the community. As Board of Director for the Kids Discovery Station 2020-2023, a museum dedicated to children, and currently sits on the Board of the Merced Main Street Association. Her hope is to create strong leadership and partnership within the community so the MCHCC can continue to advocate and educate small business owners in their efforts of recovering economically. She is also the chair of the 5K Cowboy/Vaquero Run for 5 years in a row, an event held by the Merced County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce that helps keep the Scholarship Foundation, a 501 © 3 non-profit, funded for Merced County graduating seniors. She has received several awards for her various achievements during her professional career, including the Minerva Empresaria Award 2022 from the California State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce which recognizes businesswomen who empower others by leading with wisdom and passion.
