Merced College, a Hispanic-Serving Institution, is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by emphasizing its ongoing efforts to supply necessary non-credit education to the local Hispanic population. It offers tuition-free English as a Second Language (ESL) and citizenship courses throughout Merced County. To accommodate those juggling work and family commitments, it allows flexible course participation, available both in-person and online, with course start and stop dates left up to the student's discretion.
