The Play showcased the contributions of Fannie Lou Hammer, Marlan Anderson, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Billie Holiday in their fight against racism and the oppression of Women in the United States. These historical icons sang and reflected on their struggles and triumphs during their lives.
Kim McMillon, Connie Owens-Patton, and other poets read before the Open Mic Shuffle.
