Sacramento to Welcome Back March Madness Tournament in 2027

— Golden 1 Center Set to Host Men’s First and Second Round Tournament Games —

Sacramento, Calif. – Today, the NCAA announced that March Madness will once again call Sacramento home in 2027. Golden 1 Center will host the First and Second Rounds of the 2027 Men’s Division I College Basketball Championships in March 2027. 

Golden 1 Center has previously hosted the First and Second Rounds of the 2023 and 2017 Men’s Division I College Basketball Championships. The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament at Golden 1 Center in March 2023 brought more than $9.4 million into the local economy and more than 11,000 hotel room nights. Additionally, the Women’s Division I College Basketball Regionals will return to Sacramento in 2026.
