The Merced County Office of Education and the Merced County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services will host a grand opening and open house of the Student Resiliency Center and many other programs on June 27. The grand opening invites members of the community to tour the Thorington building and gain insight into the programs that serve students and families across Merced County.
Attendees will also learn about additional programs at this location, which include the Empower Program, Foster and Homeless Youth Services, Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative, the Virginia Smith Trust and the Family Resource Center, which will commemorate its 30th anniversary at the event.
