The Urgency of Carrying Out the Great Commission

The buzz word in Christian circles is, “Convergence,” for all the prophecies being fulfilled in our life time. Jesus gave a command to his Church and his Apostles ( also disciples) in Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” This same command is recorded in Mark 16:15, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” The Church in America has been slacking in executing this command from Jesus.

Jesus predicted in Matthew chapter 24 what would be the signs of his soon return to earth for his Church and to fulfill the prophecy of the prophet Daniel’s seventieh week. Because of all these signs are happening now, the word that characterizes all these events is convergence. For example Matthew 24:5-8 states, ” For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

Examples of people claiming to be a reincarnation of Jesus Christ include: David Koresh, the cult leader out of Texas; Reverend Myung Sung Moon of the Unification church, also known as the, “Moonies.” Remember Jim Jones, out of San Francisco who led his congregation to Guyana and his followers drank the poison Kool-aid. Recently there was a mass murderer who killed several people and claimed that he was Jesus Christ. Google points out that there are at least thirty-seven other people claiming to be Jesus Christ with world wide followers being deceived.

We’ve just recovered from the Covid 19 virus from 2020. However there is a new pestilence that you might not have heard of called, “Chagas.” Chagas is caused by the parasite called, “Trypanosoma cruizi.” It causes flu like symptoms that lead to serious irreversible heart and digestive issues. It is transmitted by, “Kissing bugs,” primarily from Central and South America. Think about the latest influx of immigrants from Central and South America lately that have come to America undocumented. They are spreading this disease into our culture unknowingly because many have not taken the vaccines that most of our citizens have taken.

We all are probably aware of the recent increase in earthquakes all over the world lately. Just in the past month there have been earthquakes along the lines of the Ring of Fire cracks in the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii, Afghanistan, Russia, China, Japan and the Philippines.
We have even had some on the coast of California in Eureka and a milder one in the Bay area just two weeks ago. Jesus prophesied that these earthquakes will increase in intensity and frequency shortly before he comes back for his Church and to usher in his millennial reign for a thousand years from Jerusalem.

One of the signs that really effect us emotionally is all the senseless mass shootings of schools, churches, and large crowd gatherings such as concerts and malls. The Bible describes theses scenes as lawlessness.

When it comes to rumors of wars, we now have Pakistan and India having skirmishes at their border. China continues to threaten to take back the island nation of Taiwan. The Republic of the Congo in Africa continue to have civil wars. Israel continues to defend its right to exist against her Islamic radical (extremist) neighbors including: Hamas in Gaza, Houthis in Yemen, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Iran, and rising antisemitism world wide; especially in the age group 18-24 as reported by news agencies and the Anti Jewish Defamation League. Because of this world wide hatred, there is going to be a pilgrimage by Jews back to Israel for safety from all countries around the world. This stuff is predicted in the Bible.

The rise in kingdom versus kingdom is actually racial tension between citizens within their own country like we have here in America. President Trump has influenced the white majority in America that their very existence is at stake from people of color (Blacks, Mexicans, Asians, and Native Americans). This is what happens when people put their trust in man instead of God. The Bible teaches love towards everybody. If you think you’re going to heaven and you are a racist, you haven’t truly been born again.

Our biggest assignment as a body of believers is to prioritize our own country with the good news of the Gospel. We need to make it a priority to carry out the Great Commission with all these confused souls who think that there are more than two sexes ( Genesis 1:27; Mark 10″6). In addition we need to go into the neighborhoods of Muslim immigrants and teach them that God did have a Son, named Jesus. The Jesus they believe in their Quran (also spelled Koran) is not the same Jesus of the Christian Bible. Also we need to witness to the Muslims that we Christians do not believe in three gods. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are the one triune God.

Finally, the Bible tells us in Proverbs 11:30, “…he who wins souls is wise.” The Church needs to quit being passive and become spiritually aware of what is happening to our culture. Our public school system is dominated by doctrine of demons. We need to vote out school board members that vote for a curriculum that teaches that there are more than two sex genders. As reported in a school board meeting in Modesto in June, there are over 190 school districts in California that teach this false doctrine.

If you noticed lately, our nation is already being judged by God with remedial judgments. For example just in California at the writing of this article there are 22 fires up and down the state caused by lightning! Coincidence? I think not! How about the epidemic rise is measles spreading in our border states with Mexico. One more example just to make you aware. Watch and see that lawlessness will increase along with earthquakes in diverse places, and racial tension throughout our country. It’s time to witness at home and stand on God’s word. Something to think about!
