This year’s message, “We the People,” reflects the power of community, collective voice, and our continued commitment to equity, justice, opportunity, and civil rights.

The Honorable Cynthia A. Sterling
Cynthia A. Sterling is a former Fresno City Councilwoman and former President of the Fresno City Council. She made history as the first Black woman elected to the Fresno City Council and has remained active in civic and community leadership throughout the Central Valley.
