The Sacramento Kings announced today that the team has signed guard Ben Simmons. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 6-10 guard has appeared in 383 career regular-season games with Philadelphia, Brooklyn and the LA Clippers, averaging 13.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 1.5 steals in 31.1 minutes per game while shooting 55.8% from the field. His career honors include three NBA All-Star selections (2019-21), All-NBA Third Team honors (2019-20), two NBA All-Defensive First Team selections (2019-21), NBA Rookie of the Year (2017-18) and NBA All-Rookie First Team honors (2017-18).
A native of Melbourne, Australia, Simmons was selected by the 76ers with the first overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft after one season at Louisiana State University.
