What the Bible Says about Muslims and Arabs: Descendants of Ishmael

The constant clash between non Muslims and those of the Islamic faith is explained in Genesis 16:12.  It reads, “And he (meaning Ishmael) will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.”  There is spiritual conflict between all Muslims and non believing Muslims. What happened in Genesis is Abram and Sarai got impatient on God’s promise to give them an heir son.  So, the custom in that day was to have a  son by one of the servants (hand maiden) and the woman married to the man could claim it as her own son.  This is exactly what Abram and Sarai did.  She convinced Abram to copulate with Hagar and she and Abram had a son whom they named Ishmael. Genesis chapters 15-16)

The problem with Ishmael, is that he was not the spiritual covenant son that God promised to the union of Abram and Sarai.  Shortly before God fulfilled his promised to Abram & Sarah, he changed their names.  In Genesis 17:5 God changed Abram’s name to Abraham, which means a father of many nations.  In Genesis17:15 God told Abraham that He, God was changing Sarai’s name to Sarah.  So, thirteen years later after Ishmael was born, God kept his original promise to Abraham and Sarah and their union birthed the promised son of the covenant, Isaac.  A covenant or contract in those days always involved some sort of shedding of blood.  The sign of keeping the covenant was that on the eighth day after a male child is born he was to be circumcised.  Science has discovered that on the eight day of a male child’s life vitamin K, which causes blood to coagulate is the highest. so a person will not bleed to death.  Coincidence?  I think not!

So to make a long story short, all descendants of Ishmael still claim the promise land in the middle east because they too are the offspring of Abram.  Abraham asked God in Genesis 17:18 for Ishmael to be the covenant child.  Abraham asked, “O that Ishmael might live before thee!”  God said no to this request, but stated in Genesis 17:20,21  “And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee:  Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.”  You can’t get any plainer explanation than God himself whom the land of  Israel (including all of Palestine-Gaza & the West Bank) all belong to the Jewish progeny through Abraham and Sarah’s bloodlines, not the Muslim and Arabs.  The devil has put a supernatural hate in the Muslims mindset that the land  where there is so much disputing  belongs to them instead of the rightful spiritual heirs the Jews.

The real reason why the Jews haven’t occupied all the land that they are suppose to be in is because they fail to recognize the true God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  God has called them the Jews (Hebrews and Israelites) a stiff necked people in Exodus 32:9; 33:3; 34:9; Deuteronomy9:6,13; 10:16.  God blessed the Jews when they worshipped only him.  But many  to this day are a rebellious people.  For example, when Moses was gone up on Mt. Sinai for forty days, before he would return to their campsite, they had already had Aaron the high priest to make an idol golden  calf. Remember this is shortly after Moses had led them out of slavery from Egypt in Exodus chapter 12 and following.  The Jews have a cycle of obeying God under a strong godly leader, but falling into idolatry shortly after that leader dies.  The book of Judges repeats this habit over and over.  It’s called the period of the Judges.

So, centuries and thousands of years later the rest of us gentiles are drawn into this religious and spiritual battle between the Muslims and Jews.  Unfortunately, the Muslims created a false religion called Islam.  Muslims believe that eventually a 12th holy Iman is going to return to earth and kill all non Muslims.  They won’t say this publicly to non Muslims but that is their goal.  This is why they refuse accept Israel’s right to exist, even though Israel is the true heir to the land they they are constantly engaging in terrorist acts of war.  the reasons the extremist Muslims are so violent is because of what is states in their holy book the Quran (also spelled Koran).  For example Surah Al-Baqarah states, “Kill them whenever you come upon them and drive them out of the places from which they have driven you out.  for persecution is far worse than killing.”  Another example in Surah 9:29 reads, “Fight against those who do not believe in Allah.”  This one is pretty straight forward and simple to understand.  Surah 5:33 is really graphic, “They shall be slain or crucified or have their hands and feet cut off.”  This is why they have posted these gruesome acts of violence on social media. To scare people into converting into Islam.

Remember the prophecy of Genesis 16:12 at the beginning this article.  The Muslims won’t even get along with each other, especially the Sunni versus the Shiates.  The main two culprits in keeping up all this violence are Iran (the Shias) versus Saudi Arabia ( the Sunnis) branch of Islam.  The Shia branch believes that all holy Iman must be a blood descend of Muhammad, the first prophet, and the other branch believes that as long as you convert to Islam and follow its tenets then you can become a holy Iman.  And by the way, God has kept his promise to bless Ishmael’s  descendants too even though they have rejected the one God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Muslim nations number at least 49 countries.  So God has blessed Ishmael and Isaac too.  Something to think about.
