BlackECE continued their cookout series, by hosting a fun-filled Black Family Cookout on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Applegate Park in Merced, CA.
Families enjoyed good food, family games, your favorite cookout songs, and lots of fun.
The food was catered by Symple Soul in Merced. Children received a tote bag with culturally affirming materials, including books provided by First 5 Merced County.
This was a perfect opportunity to meet and connect with other families in the community and experience Black Joy with the kids!
