Today, the Sacramento Kings unveiled their 2025-26 schedule release presented by Ticketmaster. The Kings will begin the season on the road against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. (PDT). Next, the Kings return home for Opening Night at Golden 1 Center presented by Kaiser Permanente to take on the Utah Jazz on Friday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. (PDT) followed by a matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers in Sacramento on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. (PDT).
Sacramento heads back out on the road to play their first back-to-back of the season, facing off against the Oklahoma City Thunder (Oct. 28) and Chicago Bulls (Oct. 29). The Kings conclude their first extended road trip of the season with games in Milwaukee (Nov. 1) and Denver (Nov. 3). The team comes back to Sacramento for a five-game homestand that includes their first meeting with the Golden State Warriors (Nov. 5) and their first Emirates NBA Cup 2025 game versus the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder (Nov. 7). Kings Cup Nights are presented by ampm. The Kings finish the homestand with contests against Minnesota (Nov. 9), Denver (Nov. 11, NBC) and Atlanta (Nov. 12) with the game against the Nuggets being their first nationally televised game of the season, airing on NBC.
The Kings will then embark on a five-game road trip that tips off with their second Emirates NBA Cup game, taking on the Timberwolves on Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. Sacramento then heads to San Antonio (Nov. 16), Oklahoma City (Nov. 19), Memphis (Nov. 20) and Denver (Nov. 22). The Kings head back to California’s capitol for two games against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. and the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. for their third Emirates NBA Cup contest. Sacramento ends November with their final Emirates NBA Cup game in Utah, facing off with the Jazz on Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m., and finishes the month with a home outing versus Memphis at 6 p.m.
To begin December, the Kings head out on the road for a three-game road trip, making their way to Houston to play the Rockets on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. Sacramento will then travel to Miami to take on the Heat on Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. before concluding the trip with a nationally televised game against the Indiana Pacers (Dec. 8, Peacock). The Kings then have a two-game set against the Trail Blazers, squaring off in Portland on Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. and returning to Sacramento on Dec. 20 for a 7 p.m. tip. Sacramento remains home for the holiday season, finishing a four-game homestand with games versus Houston (Dec. 21), Detroit (Dec. 23) and Dallas (Dec. 27). The month ends with two road games in Los Angeles, facing off against the Lakers on Dec. 28 at 6:30 p.m. and the Clippers on Dec. 30 at 8 p.m. in a nationally televised game on NBC.
The Kings have 10 games in Sacramento in January 2026, their most in any month of the season, beginning with a New Year’s Day clash against the Boston Celtics at 7 p.m. Sacramento travels to Phoenix (Jan. 2) for the second night of a back-to-back with the Suns before coming back to Golden 1 Center to play the Milwaukee Bucks (Jan. 4) and the Dallas Mavericks (Jan. 6, NBC). The Kings make their first appearance at Chase Center on Friday, Jan. 9, taking on the Warriors in a 7 p.m. contest. Upon return from San Francisco, Sacramento has a seven-game homestand with games against Houston (Jan. 11), the Lakers (Jan. 12, Peacock), New York (Jan. 14), Washington (Jan. 16), Portland (Jan. 18), Miami (Jan. 20) and Toronto (Jan. 21). The Kings follow their longest homestand with the longest road trip of the season, embarking on six games in nine days beginning with games against Cleveland (Jan. 23) and Detroit (Jan. 25). Sacramento then travels to New York (Jan. 27) before a back-to-back against Philadelphia (Jan. 29) and Boston (Jan. 30) and finishing in Washington on Feb. 1.
The Kings come home for three games beginning with the Memphis Grizzlies (Feb. 4) before playing their first game on Prime Video against the Clippers on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. Sacramento’s homestand concludes with a matchup against Cleveland (Feb. 7) before heading to New Orleans (Feb. 9) and Utah (Feb. 11). The Kings return from the NBA All-Star break with a home outing against Orlando on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. and head back on the road to play San Antonio on Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas for the start of a five-game trip. After playing the Spurs, Sacramento travels to Memphis (Feb. 23), Houston (Feb. 25) and Dallas (Feb. 26) and ends the trip in Los Angeles against the Lakers (March 1).
Sacramento has nine home games in March, including a five-game homestand that starts against the Phoenix Suns on March 3 at 8 p.m., airing on NBC. The Kings then face off with New Orleans (March 5), Chicago (March 8), Indiana (March 10) and Charlotte (March 11). Sacramento travels down to L.A. to play the Clippers on March 14 at 7:30 p.m. airing on ESPN. The Kings come back to square off against the Utah Jazz (March 15), San Antonio Spurs (March 17), Philadelphia 76ers (March 19) and Brooklyn Nets (March 22) for a four-game homestand.
To end March, the Kings head out east, taking on Charlotte (March 24), Orlando (March 26), Atlanta (March 28) and Brooklyn (March 29). Sacramento ends their five-game road trip in Toronto on April 1 and returns home to play New Orleans (April 3) and the Clippers (April 5). The Kings then play the Golden State Warriors twice – first in San Francisco on Tuesday, April 7, and then three days later on April 10 at 7 p.m. at Golden 1 Center. Sacramento finishes the regular season on the road on Sunday, April 12, in Portland.

The Kings longest road trip features six games in nine days: Saturday Jan. 24 through Sunday Feb. 1 against Cleveland (Jan. 24), Detroit (Jan. 25), New York (Jan. 27), Philadelphia (Jan. 29), Boston (Jan. 30) and Washington (Feb. 1).
Sacramento has nine games that will be aired on national TV, including five on NBC (4 home, 1 away), two on Peacock (1 home, 1 away), one on ESPN (1 away) and one on Prime (1 home).
Of the team’s 14 back-to-back sets, six are home-home, five are away-away, two are home-away and one is away-home.
Sacramento’s 41-game home schedule features 20 weekend contests at Golden 1 Center (six games on Fridays, three on Saturdays and 11 on Sundays).
The Kings will open the season versus Phoenix for the fifth time in franchise history. Sacramento is 3-1 in season openers against the Suns, including 2-1 on the road. The Kings last opened the season against the Suns on Oct. 23, 2019 at Phoenix.
The Kings have a 19-21 record in season openers during the Sacramento-era (1985-present).
